R.A. Walker was introduced to the rebar world after completing his Naval career in 1947. Throughout the 40’s, 50’s, 60's & 70's R.A. became superintendent and Operations Manager for some of the premier rebar companies in California which placed many of the iconic structures seen around the area today. Not to be outdone by their dad, R.A.'s two sons, Robert & Robin combined their modern techniques with their dad's knowledge and work ethic to help build the largest rebar companies in Southern California from the 70’s and into the next millennium.  Now in the third generation, the 75 years of experience, work ethic, and standards are being passed on and applied to American Blue Star Reinforcing. Today, both Robert and Robin’s sons-in-law and sons are continuing in the trade.
